Jadhav has also produced several television shows, including Marathi sitcom Dil Dosti Duniyadari, aired on Zee Marathi, the thriller serial Duheri on Star Pravah, and a show called Freshers on Zee Yuva. He also directed the 2015 romantic drama film Tu Hi Re starring Swapnil Joshi, Sai Tamhankar and Tejaswini Pandit, as well as the 2016 action film Guru starring Ankush Chaudhari and Urmila Kanitkar. In 2014, Jadhav directed Pyaar Vali Love Story, a romantic drama set in the 90s. The film was produced by the production house Dreaming24Seven along with Deepak Rane and was presented by Video Palace. In 2018, he also co-hosted the Jio Filmfare Awards (Marathi) 2018, along with Amey Wagh.Jadhav is an Indian cinematographer and film director in Bollywood and Marathi cinema, who is best known for his 2013 film, Duniyadari. His latest film project is Dokyala Shot, directed by Shivkumar Parthasarathy, in which he plays a Maharashtrian boy to be married to a South Indian girl. His second movie was Party (2018) where he played a college student in the 90s. He made his film debut with the movie Shikari (2018) as Raghu where he was a cunning man who disrespected women. He was part of the reboot sequel to Dil Dosti Duniyadari, titled Dil Dosti Dobara where the ensemble cast re-appeared on screen. After the TV stint, he went back to performing theatre, with Amar Photo Studio where he was accompanied by Amey Wagh, Pooja Thombre and Sakhi Gokhale from the Dil Dosti Duniyadari cast. He played Sujay Sathe, a know-it-all owner of "Mazghar" in Dil Dosti Duniyadari. His first commercial role was in a play where he portrayed Hitler. He started off his career in theatre, before going into television, because he was curious about how it would be to act in front of cameras. Also, an online campaign by Hindu fundamentalists boycotted 'Athiratha' citing Chetan's activism. In Chamarajanagara, Karnataka, right-wing extremists tore down posters and prevented the film from being screened due to Chetan's political stances. His last film Athiratha released on 24 November 2017, received positive reviews, but failed due to controversy from opening day. Though this film did not do that well at the box office, Chetan was admired for his versatile acting. He played the lead role of character named "Shreyas". He experimented with a period film Noorondu Nenapu based on Marathi novel Duniyadari which was released on 9 June 2017. He was praised for his performance both by the media as well as the audience. However, Myna which was released in the year 2013 turned out to be a success. Movies like "Suryakanthi" and "Dashamukha" did not fare exceptionally well at the box office. He received more critical acclaim for his role in the film Birugaali. Followed by this film, Chetan has appeared in a cameo role in Puneet h Rajkumar's 2009 film Raam. This also fetched him the Udaya Film Awards for the best actor. The film went on to become highly successful at the box office and became critically acclaimed. Chaitanya's debut directorial venture Aa Dinagalu in 2007. He has also dubbed for one of the protagonists in 2015 Marathi movie "Rajwade and Sons." His recent film is "Chi va Chi Sau Ka" which is a super hit produced by Zee Studios for which he got Best Actor Award in Zee Talkies Comedy Awards 2017.In 2019,on 15 february lalit prabhakar appeared in a blockbuster movie 'anandi gopal',a biography on the first female doctor of india.This was a zee studios film.Ĭhetan debuted as hero in Kannada films through director K. He has hosted 'Talkies Light House' along with Neha Mahajan on Zee Talkies He has recited Marathi stories which are available on "Gostories App". Recently,he played a role of director-cum-Minal's love interest in Dil Dosti Duniyadari as Kabir. of India for 2010–2012 which is given to only 30 artists all over India. He had received Young Artists Scholarship by Ministry of Culture, Central Govt. His chemistry with lead actress Prajakta Mali struck the chord and Lalit Prabhakar won Best actor award at Zee Marathi Awards in 2014. He played role of antagonist, Lakhnya, in Gandh Phulanch Gela Sangun which gave him some recognition but he got fame and became household name after playing Aditya Desai of Julun Yeti Reshimgathi. His latest directed experimental play is "अस्वस्थ समुद्रावर बैल मेलाय" Lalit's debut show was Jeevalga on Star Pravah.He also played a role of Mohit in Kunku. He has also directed and acted in a play which is Marathi translation of Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities with same name. Before moving to television, he was part of Avinash Narkar’s play ‘Takshakyag’.
